                Tupperware is the name of a home products line that includes preparation, storage, containment, and serving products for the kitchen and home, which were first introduced to the public in 1948. Tupperware develops, manufactures, and internationally distributes its products as a wholly owned subsidiary of its parent company Tupperware Brands and it is marketed by means of direct sales through an independent sales force of approximately 1.9 million consultants. Tupperware was developed in 1948 by Earl Silas Tupper (1907–83) in Leominster, Massachusetts. He developed plastic containers used in households to contain food and keep it airtight.
                The advantages of Tupperware products, namely: (1) unique design, the lid is designed so that food became more hygienic and longer lasting, thus saving the place, time and space. (2) Food Grade, though Tupperware products are made of plastic, but it does not contain toxic chemicals and have followed the standard FDA (Food and Drugs Administration) USA, so it is safe to use for storing food. (3) Environmentally friendly, tupperware products friendly to the environment. (4) The lifetime warranty, which is protected tupperware products "Tupperware Lifetime Guarantee" against damage such as cracking, peeling or chipped due to normal use.
                Besides the advantages, there is also a shortage of tupperware products: Some kinds of plastic can not stand the heat, some types of plastics take decades to hundreds of years to decompose naturally (non-biodegradable), and if not used according to its function, the chemicals contained in plastic can be harmful to health.
